Originally HarnWare was only intended for in-house use by Tyco Electronics. However, even the first, very limited Version 1 software attracted considerable interest among customers and partners when it was released back in 1996. Therefore, we decided to make HarnWare available to Tyco customers who were prepared to invest some of their own time in attending a training course and learning how to make effective use of HarnWare in the interest and spirit of mutual business benefits.
