HarnWare is complex and requires a full three day’s training to get the best from it. The three day training course is included in the cost of the HarnWare package and covers not only the use of the software but also guidance on harness design best practices including selection of materials, screening requirements and components. During the interactive course trainees will generate drawings, wiring schematic, bills of materials, assembly time estimates and codes of practice listings. In addition to the major topics, functions such as wire size advice, HarnWare Help, web links, product data sheets, export options and printing options are also included. UK and EMEA Training CoursesThe use of the HarnWare Suite of Tools is supported by a range of courses including: 3 day training course for new users. Course outline: Training Courses are normally held at TE Connectivity UK Headquarters in Swindon. Training may be held at customer premises subject to agreement. USA and Asia Training CoursesThe use of the HarnWare Suite of Tools is supported by a range of courses including: 3 day training course for new and current users. Originally HarnWare was only intended for in-house use by TE. However, even the first, very limited Version 1 software attracted considerable interest among customers and partners when it was released back in 1996. Therefore, we decided to make HarnWare available to TE customers who were prepared to invest some of their own time in attending a training course and learning how to make effective use of HarnWare in the interest and spirit of mutual business benefits.
