Harness drawings can be created quickly using the Tyco Electronics harnessing template and
stencils within the Visio package. Shapes, representing Tyco Electronics harnessing products, are dragged and
dropped into the harness assembly drawing. The shapes automatically snap and glue together and it takes very little time to produce a
high quality drawing. Dimensions and connector references are entered simply by clicking a shape and typing in the numbers and references.
The HarnWare Design Wizard is then used to analyse the drawing and to produce a list of parts and operations in a suggested design
sequence. The wizard also provides quick access to details on each part in the harness and the connections between parts.
